2. How does the design process work?
It begins with a consultation, where we discuss your vision, goals, and budget. From there, we create a design concept, present layouts, materials, and furniture selections, and guide you through approvals before bringing everything to life with ordering, installation, and styling.
3. What is the consultation fee?
Our design consultation fee is $250, which covers an in-person or virtual meeting, review of your space, and personalized design advice. If you decide to move forward with a full project, this fee is credited toward your design service.
4. Do you work on renovations as well as decorating projects?
Yes. We handle both decorative transformations (furniture, lighting, accessories, color schemes) and renovation-focused projects (kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, fireplaces, custom millwork, and more).
5. Can I hire you for just one room?
Absolutely. We often start with a single room — such as a living room, bedroom, or entryway — and many clients later expand once they see the transformation.
6. How long does a typical design project take?
Timelines vary based on project size and scope. A single-room decorative update may take 4–8 weeks, while larger remodels or full-home designs may take 3–6 months. We’ll provide an estimated schedule after our initial consultation.
7. How do you determine your design fees?
Our fees depend on the project scope, size, and level of involvement. After the consultation, we provide a detailed proposal outlining the design services, deliverables, and estimated costs so you know exactly what to expect before we begin.
8. Do you work with contractors and tradespeople?
Yes. We collaborate closely with trusted contractors, electricians, millworkers, and installers to ensure the design vision is executed perfectly from start to finish.
9. What if I don’t know my design style?
That’s completely fine — discovering your style is part of our process. Through conversation, inspiration images, and visual boards, we help you uncover what feels authentic to you and build a cohesive design around it.
10. Do you offer virtual or remote design services?
Yes. For clients outside our area or those preferring a flexible format, we offer virtual design packages that include layouts, selections, and shopping lists you can implement at your own pace.
